Mollie Fitzgerald is 38 years old who appeared in the hit Marvel film, Captain America: The First Avenger has been charged with second-degree murder after police say she stabbed her mother, Patricia “Tee” Fitzgerald, 68.

However, she was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly fatally stabbing her mother 68-year-old Patricia ‘Tee’ Fitzgerald on December 20. Later, her mother was found dead in her Olathe, Kansas home.

Mollie Fitzgerald was charged with second-degree murder and is being held at Johnson County Jail on a $500,000 bond. According to the police report she was at the scene of the murder and taken to a local hospital for the treatment of minor injuries at the time.

Mollie or Authorities have not released any statement or motive behind the murder and the funeral plans proceed with Patricia’s burial at Divine Mercy Parish in Gardner, Kansas. Patricia Fitzgerald was in the process of moving back to the Kansas City area after living for several decades in the Houston area, her brother Gary Hunziker said to the Kansas City Star.

Mollie Fitzgerald is scheduled to first appear before a judge on the charges on January 2. An online obituary described Patricia as ‘one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she was always helping people and animals in need.’

A strong business development professional with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) focused in Law from the University of Houston Law Center.”

Earlier, she worked as a real estate agent at Sotheby’s International in 2016. She attended Trinity University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Communication.

During her time of arrest, she was in the filming the documentary, Fireball, along with two short films, King of Wishful Thinking and Phantasma. Fitzgerald was also the writer and director of all three projects.
